Matt’s real-world experience
I’ve used my Elite shears for years while filming FSE education, cutting clients and doing extensive mannequin work—including cutting through coarse mannequin hair. They still haven’t needed sharpening.
This is my personal experience, not a fixed sharpening interval. Edge life varies with cutting volume, technique, maintenance and the hair or materials being cut.

Shipping was very slow but I’m loving the shears… they seem to be excellent quality and build. It’s suppose to be VG10 steel but there’s no stamp. I would suggest they stamp them with the grade of steel. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.
