RETURN POLICY
GENERAL RETURNS (NON-SCISSORS)
Purchases from FreeSalonEducation.com including TriRazor, TriRazor Blades, Combs, Clips, and Brushes may be returned for refund or credit if returned within 14 days of receipt, with original packaging, unused, and in sellable condition.
We do not accept used items for return.
Shipping costs are not included in the refund.
SCISSOR RETURNS
We sell two types of shears on FreeSalonEducation.com: FSE Scissors and Mizutani Scissors.
Each has its own return and restocking policy. Please follow the correct instructions below for your purchase:
FSE SCISSORS

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

Scissors must be unused, in sellable condition, and returned with original packaging.

Please inspect the blade before using—any signs of use make the item ineligible for return.

Customer is responsible for return shipping.

A $25 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

Shipping costs are not refundable.
After 14 days:
You may still send the scissors in for inspection and sharpening through our official partner Bart Chen. Use the sharpening link on our website to purchase this service.
Manufacturer Defects:
If you notice a defect, send the item to the address below for a free inspection. If a manufacturer defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the scissors free of charge under our Lifetime Guarantee.

Mizutani Scissors – Return Policy
All Mizutani scissors are shipped directly from the official Mizutani distributor in San Francisco, California.
We do not manage Mizutani’s inventory, and we are not notified of stock levels. If you place an order and the scissor is out of stock, you will have the option to either:

Receive a full refund, or

Wait until the item is back in stock, at which point Mizutani will ship it directly to you.

Returns & Exchanges
Returns or exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of purchase.
To be eligible for a return, scissors must be in original condition and include all of the following:

Original Mizutani box

Tension key (in bag)

Mizutani instruction manual

Serial number card
-
Any included accessories (e.g., scissor sleeve, comb, oil cartridge) in original packaging
Incomplete returns will not be accepted.
A $50 restocking fee applies to all Mizutani shear returns.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Returns apply only to online purchases made through this site.
Custom factory orders are not eligible for return or exchange.
Special conditions apply to the Ichi-Nino-San Scissors Set — please contact us for details.
